For the last nine years DMZGlobal has been delivering security and managed services in and from the cloud, effectively before it was even called the cloud.

This session looks at what the army of consultants and integrators won't tell you about moving to the cloud. Effectively step beyond the fluffy brochures and into the real world challenges and benefits associated with washing your hands of all your infrastructure and personnel.  So while data sovereignty, the provider’s financial viability and appropriate standards are things to think about, the reality is that most of us will have a foot in both camps for some time. This means today’s issues are not going to miraculously go away and by making them someone else’s problem, it doesn’t always address your risk.  With real world examples and words of warning Adrian will share some lessons learned.
