Join us for a discussion of database security issues and trends, with a live demo of various forms of SQL Injection including Blind SQLi.  Database security is often misunderstood as just the DBA’s problem.  However, as more and more access is given to the database via applications, the scope of database security grows.

Our presenter will be Paul Steen, Senior Security Engineer for Imperva in Australia and New Zealand. As Senior Security Engineer, Paul heads technical advice, training and solutions. Paul brings a wealth of experience with him in designing and deploying application and data security solutions. He has also performed numerous penetration tests for organizations in the Healthcare, Financial Services, Government and ecommerce verticals.  Paul has lectured on general Network Security topics and taught professional Security related product certification courses in over 35 countries.
